SALLY KLEIN, RDH

Sally was born in Charleston, South Carolina. Her brothers are Mark and Duncan Frazer. She graduated from Anacostia High School in Washington, DC. She then went to Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia for two years and then to Temple University where she received her degree for dental hygiene in 1965. She worked for her father's dental practice in southeast Washington, D.C. for 9 years until he retired. She then went on to work part-time at two practices: with her brother Mark and at the office of Dr. Miller in Oxon Hill. In 1988, she started full time at the practice office in Prince Frederick. In 1986, she married Sonny Klein and moved to Calvert County in 1988. She has one son, Scott who lives in Salisbury with his wife Shelly and their son, Conner who was born in 1999. Her interests include collecting antiques, reading (especially mysteries) and movies.

LYNN O'SHEA, RDH

Lynn O'Shea has been practicing dental hygiene since 1979. She graduated from Allegany Community College in Cumberland, Maryland as a registered dental hygienist and a certified dental assistant. After graduating she worked in Olney, Maryland until marrying and moving to California for three years. Lynn received her California license and worked part-time there until her return to Maryland in 1986. She has been working part-time with the practice since 1994. Working part-time allows Lynn to spend time with her three children. She is involved in the middle school and elementary school PTA which keeps her very busy when not in the office.

TERRI PAVIS, RDH

Terri Pavis graduated from the University of Maryland, with a degree in dental hygiene. She is a part-time hygienist with the practice since November, 1995. She enjoys working with patients of all ages. When not at work she is very busy taxiing her 4 children all around Calvert County. Terri and her husband, Gary, have lived here 17 years and really love it!!

GRACE BEYER

Grace is a fairly new resident of Maryland and Calvert County. Grace and her family moved from Miami, Florida to this area in 1997. She received her A.S. from Miami-Dade Community College in 1990 and has been practicing dental hygiene for 9 years. When she's not busy taking care of her two-year-old son, Grace enjoys tennis, reading and swimming.

MARY ANN PENN, RDH

Mary Ann was born in Washington, DC and raised in Prince Georges County. She graduated from Suitland High School in 1964. She later attended ERIE County Technical Institute and graduated with a dental hygiene degree. She has been a part-time hygienist with the practice since 1996. Mary Ann and her husband Dave have 5 children and they have lived in Calvert County for 24 years. Her interests include sports (especially the Washington Redskins) and outdoor recreational activities.

MELANIE SWANK

A native of Calvert County, Melanie graduated from Northern High School in 1993 with a Certificate of Merit Diploma.

In 1997 she obtained an Associates of Arts Degree from Charles County Community College.

Melanie attended Allegany College of Maryland and obtained an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She also received Outstanding Academic Achievement in the Didactic Oral Pathology and the William T. Fridinger Award for Academic Excellence in Dental Hygiene. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 1999.

Melanie resides in Calvert County with her daughter, Hannah.

Her hobbies are reading, pets and travel.
